Hi Bob,

No I haven't 'let these people get away with it' !

The other lady reported them. I felt that there was no need for me to do any more as I had a 'full and frank' conversation with the owners of the dog (who have two small children) and they were doing some very serious thinking about the whole situation. I haven't heard from them since, but I have sent them the vets bill. The other lady was 'baying for blood' and I felt she was doing enough for the both of us! If she hadn't done this, then I would have reported it straightway.

Best wishes, Ann

Hi Ann

I've only just read your post, I'm sorry Trudy was attacked, you must have been very upset and also cross. I hope she's recovered now.

Lucy has a dog, and there are a couple nearby who have 3 black labradors. They take them for walks all 3 at a time. Lucy's dog Cassie has been attacked by these dogs on more than one occasion. I know it's hard to believe that labradors would do this, I can only think that because there are 3 of them they are working as a pack.

The owners don't seem at all apologetic or remorseful, and still walk them all together. Lucy & Gwynn wouldn't want to report them to the police, but I don't know what they can do to stop them terrorising other dogs.

Love Lyn

Thanks for your kind thoughts. Pleased to report that, apart from a bald patch on her back and her neck, she is fully recovered. The hair will soon grow. I bet it's cold on those patches when she's out walking in this weather !

Lynn - I would report them if they keep offending. People should have control over their dogs at all times and 3 dogs onto one just isn't right. The are being irresponsible.

Best wishes, Ann
